Product Background

Perhaps the most important part of a masonry post, a cap must be both functional and asthetically pleasing. A post cap's purpose is to shed water from the post's masonry.

Because most residential clients only require a small number of caps, we have developed a system that enables us to accomodate these small orders. To avoid the time consuming and expensive process of making a separate mold for each order, we've developed a mold that can produce many different sizes of post caps.

We can change not only the outer dimensions, but the thickness and side profiles as well. Of course, we still manufacture single-purpose post cap molds for larger projects.
