Our innovative head walls are a one-piece precast culvert retainer for you driveway. Manufactured to your specifications, these head walls come in a rugged design for new installations or a simpler design for existing driveways. Each wall has a splash block to reduce erosion.

Product Background

In the summer of 1995, a local contractor challenged Wyevale Precast to design a retaining wall system for driveway culverts with drainage pipes. He was looking for a fast, economical method of stabilizing the soil under the driveway.

The mould we designed had to be infinitely adjustable, as no two culverts are exactly the same.

To compete with stacked block walls on the aesthetic front, we needed something more attractive than smooth concrete. For that reason, we offer two attractive finishes - cobblestone or brick.
